Dr. Alexander Vezenkov participated in the conference “Turkish Modernity – Political, Social and Cultural Dimensions of the XIX-XX Centuries”, held on October 30-31, 2023 at the host institution of the project – Institute of Balkan Studies and Center of Thracology (https://www.bas.bg/?p=46638&lang=en), with a paper entitled: “On the problem of the real results of the Tanzimat: the Ottoman prisons through the eyes of the Bulgarian rebels.”
